Alaskan Moose Hunts

If an Alaskan Moose hunt is on your bucket list there is no better time to make that dream come true! Over the course of the last 15 years our moose numbers in South Central Alaska have rebounded from an all time low, to currently some of the best moose densities in recent histories. The rebound of the moose population can be contributed to a series of mild winters and particularly an intensive predator management program instated under the Palin Administration.

Our Moose hunts take place in unit 16B along the foothills of the Alaska Range. This area is home to a very high density of moose and has produced some of the largest bulls harvested in recent years!

The first hunt option we are offering is a Fly in Outfitted Camp. This is a DIY Alaska Moose Hunt! Each camp location will be pre scouted and camp will be set up before your arrival. We will only hunt 1 group of hunters out of each camp location per season. The camp will consist of 10×10 tents, cots, cook stove, propane heater, cooking equipment, and pack raft if necessary. Not included in this hunt are food, license and tags, sleeping bag and personal hunting equipment. A satellite phone or Garmin In reach is recommended for communication. This hunt is for any U.S. Citizen, as Alaska does not have a guide requirement for moose hunting. Alaska Residents may also harvest brown bear, black bear, wolf, and wolverine on this hunt. Nonresidents may also harvest black bear, wolf, and wolverine providing proper licenses have been purchased ahead of time. You will be required to pack your own meat and prep your own trophies for this hunt option. Dates are September 10-25 and can be for any amount of time. We recommend 10-12 days and a two person minimum per camp. Total Price of hunt is $6000 per person.

The second hunt option we are offering is a Fully Guided Spike Camp. Basic camp accommodations for this hunt are the same as the above outfitted camp. However this is a fully guided hunt that includes a licensed guide, food, communication, trophy prep, and meat packer. Brown bear may be harvested on a trophy fee for $5000, Black bear may be harvested on a trophy fee of $1000, and wolf and wolverine are free. Not included are license and tags, personal gear, and shipping of trophies to your home. Hunts take place between Sept. 9-25 and are 10 days in duration and 8 actual days of hunting. Total Price of hunt is $18,000 per person.

The third hunt option we are offering is a Fully Guided Cabin Based Argo hunt. Our cabin is located on a beautiful lake in the foothills of the Alaska Range. Each day you will travel by Argo and glass many miles of prime moose habitat in search of Trophy Bulls, and then return to a comfortable cabin each night. Brown bear may be harvested on a trophy fee for $5000, Black bear may be harvested on a trophy fee of $1000, and wolf and wolverine are free. Not included are license and tags, personal gear, and shipping of trophies to your home. Hunts take place between Sept. 8-25 and are 10 days in duration and 8 actual days of hunting. Total Price of hunt is $22,000 per person.

Extra days, 2×1 hunts, and combination hunts may be available upon request. Anchorage Airport or Hotel pick up and All Bush Flights are included in all of our hunts!
